Who we are
Dial4.food is operated by Posso Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11813595). We are the controller for personal information collected through this website. You can contact us at hello@dial4.food.
Information we collect on this website
- Restaurant enquiries. When you use our enquiry form we collect your name, business name, email, phone number, postcode, current ordering system and any message you write.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the service secure and working.
- Location. If you choose “Find food near me” and allow location access, your browser compares your position with the cities we cover. Your location is not sent to us or stored.
Phone orders
When you call a restaurant's Dial4.food number, the call is answered by an AI ordering assistant provided by Posso AI Food Ordering Systems on behalf of that restaurant. The details you give, such as your order, name, phone number and delivery address, are used to take and fulfil your order and are shared with the restaurant. The restaurant is responsible for your order and may have its own privacy notice. Contact us if you would like details of how call information is retained for a particular restaurant.
How we use your information
- To respond to enquiries and arrange demonstrations (our legitimate interests, or steps before entering a contract).
- To process phone orders for restaurants (performance of a contract with the restaurant and customer).
- To keep our services secure and prevent misuse (our legitimate interests).
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to host the website and deliver enquiries by email or to our customer management tools. They process information only on our instructions. Order information is shared with the restaurant you order from.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and manage any resulting business relationship, and for up to two years afterwards unless the law requires longer.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. Email hello@dial4.food to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
